Color My World

When: Saturday May 9, 2026 2:30 & 7:30 PM
Where: Eisemann Center Bank Of America Theatre
Guest Artist: Colton Drake

"Color My World" was an immersive musical experience, blending the Chorale’s signature vocal precision with dynamic staging. The repertoire explored themes of vibrancy, diversity, and emotion, featuring arrangements that span genres from pop and jazz to Broadway and contemporary choral standards.

Patrons heard favorites like Blue Velvet, Big Yellow Taxi, Bein Green (Yes, Kermit’s song!), Paint It Black, Orange-Colored Sky, and so many more! Remember The Rainbow Song from childhood? Melanie Moore arranged our own version. And of course, we can’t forget Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat!

Colton Thomas Drake is a Dallas native with ties in Colorado, now based in Brooklyn, NY. He first fell in love with music at a young age in Colorado and was privileged to pursue a degree in Music with an emphasis in Musical Theater at the Wanda L. Bass School of Music at Oklahoma City University. During his years at OCU he trained and refined his lyric -baritone voice under the tutelage of Brenda Holleman. He was privileged to have had many performance opportunities during his collegiate years. His favorite roles include Warner in Legally Blonde, Sir Robin in Spamalot, and Man #2 in Closer Than Ever. After graduation,
Colton moved to NYC where he has been pounding the pavement at auditions. Just last year he made his professional theatrical debut in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella at Casa MaƄana in Ft. Worth. Not long after, he made his music video debut in Frankie Grande’s Rhythm of Love. When not pursuing his love of music and performance, he can be found at Prospect Park with his dog, Willie Nelson. He would like to thank Melanie for this fabulous opportunity to create music with the wonderful artistic community she has cultivated. This performance, and every performance, is dedicated to his mother.
