Christmas With The Chorale 2025

The Contemporary Chorale celebrated the magic of the holiday season at their annual festive event, Christmas With The Chorale, on December 13, 2025. Audiences joined the group for an unforgettable afternoon and evening filled with timeless holiday favorites and inspirational songs that warmed their hearts.

Attendees experienced the joy of the season with beautiful choral performances in the welcoming atmosphere of Spring Valley United Methodist Church. That year, the Chorale was thrilled to feature special guest artist Rachel Jones, who added an extra sparkle to the celebration.

Two performances took place at 2:30 PM and 7:30 PM, which were perfect for families, friends, and anyone who looked to embrace the spirit of Christmas through music. No one wanted to miss this cherished tradition that brought the community together in song and festive cheer.

Rachel Jones is a DFW-based soprano known for her clarity of tone, expressive musicality, and versatility. She regularly performs with Verdigris Ensemble and Incarnatus and has sung with the Orpheus Chamber Singers. Rachel is also on the roster of nationally recognized ensembles Conspirare and The Crossing, and recently made her debut with Trinitas Ensemble in Little Rock.

She has appeared as a soloist in works by Bach, Fauré, Buxtehude, Britten, and Parry, and has premiered new music by composers such as Sahba Aminikia and Shavon Lloyd. Locally, she is a frequent soloist in the Bach’s Lunch series at Church of the Incarnation.

Rachel began studying voice in high school with Melanie Moore, who inspired her to pursue music at Texas Christian University, where she earned her Bachelor of Church Music. She is honored to join The Contemporary Chorale as their featured artist and to collaborate with her incredibly talented mother, Crysta Jones, and wonderful former teacher, Melanie Moore.
